Ahhhh, yes. Nothing quite says summer 2017 like a ruffled, one shouldered, blue and white striped dress. Am I right or am I right? Lol. This checks off most of this summer’s trends in one super cute dress! (and might I add, for less than $20! Cha-Ching!) I ordered this from Shein a couple months ago and have been patiently waiting for the day we finally took pictures in it. The reason it took so long was (again) my massive blogging break that went WAY longer than my original anticipated break of a couple weeks, haha. I want to add and emphasize – how comfortable this dress is. It’s not one of those annoying shirts/dresses that could be an off the shoulder but its really just a super wide neck that you can pull DOWN onto your shoulders…. #nothankyou. Those are the WORSE styles ever because they are so terribly uncomfortable you can’t possibly do anything in real life without one side (or both) popping back up to rest on top of your shoulders! No no no, a true (and comfortable) off the shoulder should have separate arm holes so that it can not pop up on top. And this dress does indeed have separate arm holes! Its perfect. 🙂
This weekend flew by as usual, and I can’t believe our honeymoon ended a month ago already! Where is the time going?! Speaking of time going fast, last week I discovered a skincare line called SkinActives. Supposedly they base their products off of science and simplicity as opposed to attractive bottles and a ton of ingredients. They look super promising! I ordered a few facial serums form them since I’m kind of obsessed with anti aging (lol). I’ll post an update in a couple months and let you guys know how their going and what I think of them! But I really mean it – I am obsessed with anti aging. In high school I didn’t have very good skin, dry… acne… pale.. acne scars – so hot. That started my mindset of “well DAMN if my skins already not good now I need to make dang sure it doesn’t go downhill from here!” On top of that, I went indoor tanning a lot my senior year.. *shudder*. So between my premature forehead wrinkles and my less than attractive skin in High School I’ve taken very seriously to undoing the damage I’ve done and and hoping I’m a milf when I’m 50! Lol. So just to summarize – I’m really excited about this company, and I hope to reveal good news in a few months! Wish me luck! AND if you have any skin care recommendations/tips please let me know!
Thanks for reading and following along today. Much love!
